Do I have an Inspection Service Contract with MHO?
The answer is yes. We have a one year Service Contract that outlines our mutual responsibilities. We will renew that on an annual basis if both parties agree. In the event one of the parties elects to terminate or cancel the contract early there is no penalty charge. The party electing to terminate the agreement must provide the other with a 14 day written notice and any services rendered prior to receipt of notice must be paid for as outlined in the contract.
What will Mountain Home Overlook (MHO) do if a problem such as an act of vandalism, a burglary or a malfunctioning refrigerator is identified during a Home Inspection?
Our response to a given situation will depend on the preference and direction given by our client. Our contract will outline the preferred response that the client authorizes us to follow in emergency and non emergency situations.
Will my house keys, personal information and Alarm Codes be secure with MHO?
The short answer and to avoid publishing details is yes. These items will be kept secure and confidential.
I am a summer resident here. Will I have to pay the monthly Inspection fee for the summer months I spend in the home?
As long as you give us proper notice to cancel our scheduled inspections you will not be charged. So, for example, if you are a summer resident here and you advise us that you are going to be here for the months of May, June, July and August we will not come to inspect and you will not be billed for those months. We will remain available to assist you with any Special Services.
How will I pay for MHO Services?
You will be billed on a monthly basis for services rendered. You may make payment by Cash, Personal Check or Money Order.
